About Greater Miami Hebrew Academy

A Modern Orthodox Jewish day school built on Torah values and academic excellence.

Founded by Rabbi Alexander S. Gross in 1947, our academy is among the oldest Modern Orthodox Jewish day schools in the southeastern United States. Located at 2400 Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach, we serve students from infant care through 12th grade with a dual curriculum that gives equal weight to Limudei Kodesh (Jewish studies) and college-preparatory general studies.

Many of our families have multi-generational ties to the school — children, parents, and grandparents who walked the same halls. That continuity shapes our culture: a community where every child is known by name and every family is part of an extended Jewish family.
